Apps we love

We can’t live without these apps!

Slack

Slack is a super nifty team messaging tool that allows you to remove yourself from the email inbox vortex and get super productive. We use Slack on a daily basis across all areas of our business and can’t recommend it highly enough. If you click on the link above, you’ll get a $100 credit when you sign up!

Intercom

You may have already seen this on our website – it’s the little box that pops up on the screen and offers to chat with one of our staff members live. It’s really helpful to capture prospects and also simplify your marketing funnel.

Acuity Scheduling

Acuity is the booking system that we use for the berrins meeting room and event space. It helps to free up our admin time by allowing customers to book online through a direct link, via our website, or on our Facebook page. It was one of few meeting room booking apps that two way synced with Google Calendar – and this is really important for us. We love it so much we recommended it as our app of choice.

Xero

You may have already heard of this app, but it came into the marketplace in 2006 and immediately took on the world as the number one choice for invoicing, bookkeeping and accounting. It’s basically MYOB in the cloud. What we love about it is that it’s paperless, it allows you to chase your clients automatically to payment and it integrates seamlessly with your bank account.

Canva

Canva is a relatively new software application that was launched here in Sydney a few years ago. Since then they have seen huge growth and are set for big things. The team at Canva are making design accessible to non-designers, and it’s often described as Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop, but online. It’s really fun and easy to use and it’s taking the world by storm.

MailChimp

MailChimp is a easy to use email marketing software program that allows you to send beautifully personalised emails with ease. They have a fun interface and have nailed customer support so it’s really quite enjoyable to use. We integrate it with our website backend, as well as various other tools to ensure we capture customer information at every checkpoint.

Eventbrite

We use Eventbrite to manage our ticketing for the berrins business brekky, which is held every first Monday of the month down at our Manly space. You can create professional events really quickly and easily, and you can charge for your events. It’s also really helpful for managing attendee lists and special coffee orders (we should know!).
